11 year old Namita had been ill for as long as she could remember.

Although Namita’s parents took her to see many doctors and made faithful sacrifices at temples and shrines, Namita was not cured.

She fell behind in her studies because she missed so many days of classes, and eventually she quit school.

One day, a Children’s Bible Club leader met Namita and invited her to join the Club.

Namita was excited when she heard about the games the children at the Club play because she loves sports!

Namita had a tremendous time playing with the other children at the Club. She listened with rapt attention during the stories, and she learned about Jesus Christ. She decided to accept him as her personal Saviour!

From the stories Namita heard at the club, she knew that Jesus heals the sick, so she began praying for her own health. Starting that very day, Namita’s sickness gradually left her!

Since Namita was not sick anymore, she began attending school again. Namita spoke with her parents about the power of Jesus, the One who healed her. Namita’s parents believe that Jesus is very powerful. Namita is praying that her parents will come to a saving knowledge of Christ, too.
