Jesus Loves Me!

Children like Ajit who were raised to worship idols are discovering in their Bible Clubs that Jesus truly answers their prayers!

Ajit faithfully prayed to his parents' idols,
but they never seemed to answer...

Ever since he could remember, young Ajit had bowed to idols.

He had been brought up to honor the Hindu gods by bringing them sacrifices. Failure to please the gods could bring disaster to his family.

But praying to idols hadn’t exactly brought blessings. Ajit’s father drank too much and sometimes beat his wife and children.

Because he couldn't read, the only job Ajit’s dad could get was as a daily labourer - and he spent most of the money he could earn on alcohol.

Some days there wasn’t any money left for food.

The first time Ajit learned about Jesus was at a Children’s Bible Club.

The Club leader saw Ajit playing on the side of the road one day and invited him to come.

At the Club, Ajit heard about Jesus - the God who loves him.

Instead of demanding sacrifices, Jesus sacrificed Himself to save Ajit!

Ajit was amazed! He accepted Jesus as his Saviour.

Ajit attends a nearby church for worship and Sunday school. At home, he eagerly reads the Bible. He is growing and learning every day.

And Ajit is telling other children about Jesus!

Even though they do not attend, Ajit’s mom and dad do not stop him from going to church.

Ajit doesn’t bow to idols anymore. He prays to Jesus, who loves him!
